Having been consecrated as Bishop to the ancient see of Glastonbury in 1944, the late Mar Georgius drafted a book on the history of Glastonbury and the ancient Celtic Church which was established in A.D. 37 and which had become the prime see of the church representing the restoration of British Orthodoxy. This draft text was prepared by Mar Georgius in 1960 but was never actually published. Having been serialised in the current Glastonbury Bulletins, it has now been made available by his cousin and successor in the see of Glastonbury, who is also the British Patriarch in succession from the Primates and Supreme Hierarchs of British Orthodoxy.
