Orthodox in the Midlands, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire
Local Fellowship Co-Ordinator: Antony Westwood
The British Orthodox Fellowship is planning to begin a regular Orthodox Prayer meeting in the Midlands region.
The meeting would take the form of the historic Orthodox office of Orthodox Morning or Evening Prayers, depending on the time of the service. Afterwards we will have time for conversation. The meeting will probably last an hour altogether.
It is with great thanks and joy that Fr. Roger Raven, Rector of SS Philip & James Church here in Cheltenham has welcomed us to use his lovely Anglican Church and facilities. The Church is located two miles from Junction 11 of the M5 Motorway.
We will be holding an Orthodox Prayer & Interest Hour on the second Tuesday of every month commencing MARCH 11th 2008 from 1900 until 2000hrs.
VENUE: SS Philip and James Parish Church, Hatherley Road, Up Hatherley, CHELTENHAM, Gloucestershire, GL51 6HX.

We are also planning to organise an Orthodox Study Day to allow Fellowship members and other enquirers to spend a few hours exploring some aspects of the Orthodox Faith and participating in Orthodox worship. If there is enough interest from Fellowship members and other enquirers in the region then we will also be organising a local Pilgrimage.
