Dear Rick,

And there I was seeing you as Phileas Fogg, voyaging around at least half the world.

I can chart the flight now - north to Canada where a great waft of hot air from a source familiar to us both would waft you high over the Atlantic until you came across the north of England (another waft of hot air from the general area of Leeds might help here) and then landed nicely near Diss. 'Steer' - you mean you don't just get in 'em and the wind listeth where it will? That's another illusion shattered  And, say you did float too far north to Russia, well I'm sure they'd be OK with you - provided you spoke old Church Slavonic and didn't tell them about us; we'd play along

How could you think I wasn't being serious  I just wanted you to avoid the Bermuda Triangle where the Da vinci code has hidden the Holy Grail :!:

Mind you - it would be wonderful if, at some point, we could meet up - I'd be on the balloon like that!

Peace,

John

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (1 John 4:10)
