Hi.
I have recently known that there are a few well known Russian icon writers (such as Gregori Kruge and Andrei Rublev) and was wondering if there is the same in Coptic or Oriental Icon writers.
The only one I can name is Dr Stephen Rene, the major founder of the Neo-Coptic style (as used by many such as Fadi mikhail in Stevenage).
Are there any more well known Coptic Icon writers like this or is this purely an EO Phenomenon?
