Faith and Medicine - kirk yacoub - 01-06-2010 08:34 AM
On Sunday I spoke with one of my Syriac brethren who is also a doctor. He tells me that in the USA there has been a very thorough and proper study of patients who, though suffering from the same ailment and receiving the same treatment, have been divided into those who pray and
are prayed for, and those who do not pray and are not prayed for.
The findings were that those who pray and are prayed for respond very much better to their treatment than those who do not pray and are not prayed for.
This shows the power of prayer, it also shows the need for us believers to pray for those who have no-one praying for them.

It does, indeed, Kirk.
We live in a society which seeks to measure everything, and which does not realise that those things which really matter - love and faith - cannot be measured.
