Dear Kirk,
As always, we are in your debt. An excellent and thought-provoking argument. I am just reading a book on the European 'discovery' of the Coptic Church, and the story seems rather a familiar one, except in this case it is the Catholics who thought that the 'heretics' needed 'converting'.
