Dear Fr. Gregory,
Thank you for this. I agree with you about the Ancient Commentary on Scripture. I find them an invaluable resource. Conciliar Press also produce 'Orthodox' commentaries. I am reading through the one on St. John's Gospel this month, and I am finding it offers edifying insights. They come from the former evangelical group which converted to Eastern Orthodoxy some time ago, but bear few traces of that lineage.
