Dear Kirk,
We certainly say all bishops are equal, but it is unclear to me that the Patriarch of Alexandria does not enjoy at least a primacy of honour; he certainly seems more equal than others, as canon 6 of Nicea recognises. I think that is why I wondered about how one defined that indefinable 'primacy of honour'. peace, John In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
