I had a long theological conversation with a Coptic friend in Canada last night and he said that Pope Shenouda had not spent long in the US at all, but because of the crisis at the monastery in Egypt he had more or less flown straight back, and as soon as he touched down - though he must still be in great pain - he went straight to see the monks.
May the Lord strengthen him, and have mercy. |
