Thank you for the links.
I can see a source of potential conflict between the married Anglican and the Celebate Catholic priest-Celibacy as an optional extra-this could weaken the RC celibate priesthood. The Orthodox church appears to have a sensible solution -OrdinaryPriest(not meant in a derogatory sense)having the choice to be married or not Bishops being celibate-I hope my understanding is correct. What about the Orthodox possibility of union?I believe that was recently expressed as a distinct possibility by the Russian Orthodox Church. In God's Love John Francis |
