Dear Kirk,
Yes, I couldn't agree more. Canon Law is, after all, a means to an end, not an end in itself. There are quite enough obstacles in the way of the believer without the Church adding to them. In Christ, John In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (1 John 4:10) |
