Advent Fast
In the Syriac Orthodox Church we begin the 10-day advent fast on wednesday 15th December. We are asked to devote this fast to the meory of the Martyrs of Baghdad and for all the Christiands of Iraq.
I hope that many of you will also find time during the run up to Christmas to dedicate at least part of your time to the brethren in Iraq. Kirk Yacoub |
